We recently hosted our very first wine dinner and man, was that fun! The theme of our dinner was “All Carolina” and our Chef (Jonathon Moore) created a menu that showcased seafood from the Carolina shores. Alongside the five-course meal, we paired wines from a local NC Vineyard, Raylen Vineyards. (If you didn’t know, we offer a red and a white blend from Raylen on tap for only $7 everyday! Score!)
We enjoyed the company of 20+ attendees at this dinner on March 5th and Paul Manley (owner of Sea Level) and Steve Shepard (master blender at Raylen) shared about their respective businesses and educated our guests on the great food & drink offerings served. We ate, we drank, we laughed, we learned, and we had a heck of a time. Though we don’t have a set date for our next Dinner, you can still get your learning on with our monthly Monday Night Oyster sessions. Find out more here.
Menu: Grilled NC Oyster with Chimichurri (Sauvignon Blanc), NC Flounder Crudo (Pinot Grigio), Smoked NC Trout & Oyster Stew (Barreled Chardonnay), Sage Roasted Trigger Fish with Scalloped Sweet Potato Gratin (Merlot), and Dulce de Leche Panna Cotta (Port).
